Community Yarn Bomb Project ♥

Thursdays in April: 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 5:00-7:00/ $10 donation encouraged

Help yarn cozy a distressed couch at Lents Commons Coffee House.  Take part in Portland’s first community organized Yarn Bomb.  Help yourself to yarn donated by Knit Picks, and make a one of a kind square that will be installed for the public to see at Lents Coffee House.  Be a beginner.  Or come as an expert willing to giggle, gab and fiddle with yarn.  Bring hooks (4-7) and/or needles (6-9).

Learn to Crochet

Sun Mar 4 @ 1:00-3:00/ $25 (does not include materials)

Be fearless and learn the basic crochet stitches; chain (ch), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc). And find out all the fun and easy projects you can make after taking this 2 hours class.  Students will come away with confidence.  This class is suitable for                                                             ages 7- adult.

Amigurumi Egg Bear

Learn the japanese art of crocheting small adorable toys.  In this class students will learn the magic circle, how to read a pattern, blanket stitch and proper assembly for toys.  Pattern, safety eyes, stuffing, felt, and embroidery floss are  included.  This class is great for beginners who want to build on their skills.
